This Week in NFTs:
🌟 Donald Trump released his second series of trading cards on Wednesday. The 47k item collection sold out rapidly at a mint price of $99.
👟 Nike continues to kill the Web3 game with their new platform – @dotSWOOSH. The NFT focused platform will allow users to create their own items and earn royalties. .SWOOSH kicks off with an official Nike collection inspired by the iconic Air Force 1.
🪙 NFT trading volume has seen a steady decline since peaking at >74K ETH on Feb 22nd. Wednesday’s trading volume amounted to a mere ~17K ETH. This is likely due to NFT maxis rotating to meme coins and BTC’s latest surge.
💥 TinTin is back! One of the most beloved comics of all time has just launched their first NFT collection. The project features physical prints and digital-only renditions of “Blue Lotus”, an illustration created by TinTin author Hergé in 1936.
🥪 An ENS domain with a tongue-in-cheek pun has been wreaking havoc on-chain. jaredfromsubway.eth deployed a MEV bot recently, and has been profiting massively from sandwich attacks.

This Week in DeFi:
🐸 Memecoins are back on the menu. After the seriousness of Shapella, the TL has taken a breath to satiate their degen spirits. PEPE has led the charge, surging to a $150m market cap in less than a week since launch.
⛽️ The current on-chain frenzy has seen Ethereum gas fees surge to an average of over 70 gwei in recent days.
🍁 Institutional capital market platform Maple Finance just launched their Cash Management Pool. The pool provides a fresh investment avenue for non-US-accredited investors.
🚀 Rocket Pool Atlas is now live! The liquid staking platform’s latest launch enables support for Shapella withdrawals. Further, validators can now create or convert to 8 ETH minipools on the protocol.
🪲 KyberSwap detected a critical bug in the protocol’s AMM on Monday. Protocol TVL dropped by 95% as the network warned liquidity providers to withdraw their LP positions. The team has taken quick steps to address the vulnerability.
