as we discussed in our community call yesterday, we're now targeting June as the tentative timeline for the OGV airdrop to OGN holders instead of May. there are 3 reasons for the adjusted timeline: 1) it's taking us longer than expected to finalize the tokenomics. it's critical we get the incentives right so that people have a reason to hold or buy OGV instead of everyone immediately selling after claiming their free tokens. 2) we have over 50 centralized exchanges that have listed OGN that we want to support the airdrop and list OGV. some of them have told us they more time or that they want to review our audits (almost ready) before they can commit to working with us. 3) the Origin Story team are making rapid progress on the new staking program for OGN holders. this new staking program will allow people to earn a portion of the fees that are generated by our NFT platform. since we're so close to it being ready to launch, we figure we may as well give everyone something new and exciting to do with their OGN immediately after claiming their OGV. while we're eager to launch OGV as soon as we can, it's clearly in the best interests of all OGN holders and future OGV holders that we get this launch right.
